Molly Soda
"'Our Song' is a contemporary take on vito acconci's "Theme Song" (1973) - using the same method of seduction and interplay with contemporary music I will be talking to the audience via a webcam on stage. I will be present but you will not be able to see me. I'm interested in re-contextualizing acconci's piece to see what happens/how it changes based on the fact that I am female."

Molly Soda is an artist working across a variety of digital platforms such as videos, gifs, zines, tweets and more. Her work invokes insight on contemporary feminism, perversion, culture and identity. she is currently based out of detroit but you can always find her on the internet.
