Morgan Barrie
"My work explores “the natural world,” both as an ideal and a reality. I am interested in the ways that we as humans package & brand overarching ideas of what nature is, and how those pre-conceived notions affect our actual interactions with other animals and natural spaces.
The images are created though digital collage. Human, animal, and environmental subjects are shot completely separately from one another, and are composed into a single image like paper dolls or theatrical sets."
